Co-Worker Appreciation Picnic
On September 24, CroppMetcalfe celebrated co-workers with a Co-Worker Appreciation Picnic at Ticonderoga Farm in Chantilly, VA. This included a ton of food and raffle prizes for co-workers to win. The farm has an abundant amount of things to do for people of all ages. There were mazes, pedal karts, a petting zoo, and much more!
Part of the picnic included “Cravin’ CroppMetcalfe” which allowed co-workers and their friends and family to try samples of different food. There were crabcakes, bacon-wrapped scallops, southwest chicken egg rolls, and Swedish meatballs. Co-workers were able to expand their pallets and enjoy a different variety of appetizers!
Raffle prizes included 14 different “experiences” with an additional surprise experience for co-workers who did not win anything to get a chance at winning $500 cash! The experiences ranged from Redskins tickets & signed Gruden football to an electronic basket that included a drone and echo dot. Co-workers were especially excited about the brand new 55” TV! The mystery prize this year involved co-workers having to find bubble gum at the bottom of a pie pan covered in whipped cream and blow a bubble. One co-worker won and received a 6-month pie club membership and a $100 visa gift card.
As it was winding down, co-workers also had the opportunity to go to the Kaiser Permanente mobile health van to have assessments and receive their flu shot. With the amount of different food, activities, and prizes, this year’s picnic was definitely one to remember!
